Comedians Orlando Lebya and Rojo Perez to Joke it Up at SXSW Festival

The South by Southwest Festival has released its comedy lineup and it includes Latinos Rojo Perez and Orlando Leyba.

The SXSW festival, which runs from March 16-20, is moving online this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but will still feature celebrities, and up-and-comers in politics, film, comedy, music, social justice, gaming and technology.

For 2021, SXSW will host showcases from iconic comedy clubs from around the country.

Leyba, who is Dominican, has his own HBO Latino special ‘Adorable’. He has also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and on HBO Latino’s Entre Nos: Part 3. Leyba was also a finalist in NBC's Stand-Up Showcase.

He will perform at 9 p.m. EST March 16, as part of the Hollywood Improv group of comics.

Rojo Perez

Perez, who is originally from Puerto Rico, has been on HBO’s Entre Nos: Spot On, a cast member on MTV's Decoded, and featured on Comedy Central's Funny 'Cause It's True’.

His performance from the Bring Back Laughs Show will be shown on the last night of the festival, March 20 at 9 p.m. EST.
